This look is created with some basic Halloween makeup tips. White and black Ben Nye, a thick foundation used as stage make up, is great for any kind of base. If you can’t find Ben Nye since it is often sold only at costume stores or specialty stores, you can luckily find some Halloween makeup kits at 24-hour stores like Walmart. Choose a kit that has all of the colors you’ll need, and they often come in themes like “Vampire,” “Skeleton,” or “Zombie” with corresponding colors
Liquid eyeliner and an eyeliner pencil, such as the ones used in the video, are sold at many 24-hour stores like CVS and Walmart. Target has a great brush set and a wonderful eye shadow selection, so you can get your puffy contour or blush brush and black eye shadow for the shading there.
With this look, smudging is key. Once you have outlined your face in the black eyeliner pencil, fill it in with the liquid eyeliner or black Ben Nye base. Smudge black eye shadow on the white to make the gray shadows. Voila! You have a wonderful skeleton costume with just Halloween make up. Combine with a white or black outfit from your closet, and you’re ready to spook the town.
