Super Mario Galaxy 2: great for kids of all ages

Mario is a world-famous character, as recognisable as Mickey Mouse, thanks to his successful video games series that spans two decades. Mario’s longevity is credited to its ability to appeal to both children and adults. Through its simple but very creative game play and enduring characters it still remains as the biggest videogame franchise to date. Super Mario Galaxy 2 continues this tradition, receiving an almost-perfect average rating of 97% and selling 1.2 million copies in its first week.

This is the fourth 3D Mario game, a giant leap from its original 2D game play back in the 80s. Now the game is only limited by the imagination of the designers at Nintendo, helmed by video game legend Shigeru Miyamoto, the original creator of Mario. And you known the team at Nintendo have imagination to spare. This game appears on the Nintendo Wii, bringing you further into the 3D experience with its motion controllers.
