Scream 4 aka Scre4m Is A Go

I've been waiting to hear if Mr Craven was actually going to be doing another Scream movie, and finally the word is in. Wes was in an interview with the folks at Entertainment Weekly when he was asked about the project;

Ghostface is back for more, as is the original Scream team of director Wes Craven, screenwriter Kevin Williamson (The Vampire Diaries), and the acting trio of Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette. Dimension Films gave EW.com the first look at the final teaser poster for Scream 4, which will hit theaters April 15, 2011. Horror movie maestro Craven, who’ll start shooting the new sequel this June, kindly set aside a few minutes to chat about the fourth entry in his memorably meta series.

According to IMDB, they have been in pre-production since March of 2010, so looks like all things are on schedule. I'm really glad those three from the first movie decided to sign up again,that will most likely make this movie a hit. The recent Nightmare on Elm Street movie is currently number one, so we know that America sure does love a good slasher film!
